Bios - Hettel Street Blues

Diva

Vocalist Kathy Hettel sings in the tradition of the great women of song such as Etta James, Ruth Brown and Dinah Washington. Kathy is also a member of the Washington Blues Society and a full time physician.

Bass

Donn Harvey brings thirty years of bass playing to the group. His musical journey started in the midwest in high school. After working his way through college as a bass player, Donn settled in the Seattle area. For the past twelve years he has been an active session musician and fill-in bass player for many bands. Donn is the owner and president of Tech Link Northwest.

Harmonica

Steve Beaudry became interested in blues harp after hearing the first Paul Butterfield Blues Band. He's played professionally in Hawaii and across the mainland for over 30 years. During that time he's had a chance to sit in with many of his blues idols: Mike Bloomfield, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy and most recently, Billy Branch in Chicago.

Sax

Harold Fox is a fantastic new addition to the Hettel Street Blues line up. A veteran of the jazz and blues scene, Mr. Fox plays soaring solos over the groove giving the band a fire and authentic soul sound.

Lead and Rhythm Guitar | Keyboards

Scott Caruso began his musical career performing rock and roll in the South Bay . As he drifted north he became interested in jazz and blues and taught himself how to play a mean lead guitar after the styles of Jimmy Smith and Kenny Burrell.
